DSTV is regarded as the number 1 satellite cable TV service in Nigeria and Africa. The service is provided by a South African company called Multichoice, and it offers DTH (direct-to-home) pay-TV services to its customers. It prides itself in providing one of the most affordable bouquets on the African continent.
One of the things that DSTV is known for is its innovative products. The service has a wide array of products including HD PVR decoders, mobile streaming services (Showmax and DSTV Now), and different HD channels. How much does it cost to enjoy the different DSTV packages? We will answer this question in this post.
Currently, DSTV has six different bouquets in Nigeria. They used to be eight (8) but the company discontinued two (2) bouquets in 2020.
In March 2022, DSTV announced an upward review of the prices of their various packages. The different bouquets and their current prices are listed below:

DSTV prides itself in having the best selection of channels of any of the DTH satellite TV services in Africa today. The service provides customers with high-quality digital TV signals as well as HD channels. You can watch all kinds of interesting content on DSTV including sports, movies, music videos, religion, news, and more.

Note that different bouquets have different selections of channels. In the next section, we will discuss each of the different bouquets, their costs, and the different channels that they provide.
This bouquet offers customers more than 30 channels. It is the most affordable of all the packages from DSTV and you can still enjoy a lot of entertainment on it. The only challenge is that most of the SuperSport and MNET channels aren’t available on this bouquet. CNN is also not available but you have access to some audio channels. This package is very similar to the Access package that DSTV discontinued in 2020. Customers on this bouquet have access to over 87 channels and they are a mix of both local and international TV stations. Note that you also have access to about 11 audio channels as well as many of the channels on the discontinued Access bouquet. Some of the channels on the DSTV Yanga Package include:
The Confam bouquet is another new bouquet that DSTV introduced in 2020. Most people consider it to be a replacement for the discontinued DSTV Family package because of their similarities. This package presents subscribers with more than 108 TV channels and 11 audio channels. Below is a list of some of the channels that you can access on DSTV Confam:
The Compact bouquet offers customers a lot more entertainment than any of the bouquets above. Despite offering so much, it is still considerably affordable. DSTV offers the Compact package as its entry package so when you purchase a decoder and dish, you get a month’s free Compact bouquet subscription. You have access to more than 146 channels and 53 audio channels on this bouquet. Below are some of the channels on DSTV Compact:
This bouquet is a combination of all the channels on DSTV Compact and several sports channels. As such, you will have access to SuperSport Football Plus HD, SuperSport Action HD, SuperSport Variety 1 HD, and ESPN 2 HD.
The main benefit of this is that viewers can watch Champions League, Europa, Premier League, La Liga, and Serie A matches. You can also watch other sports like athletics, motorsport, boxing, golf, rugby, and tennis.

This is the highest and most-encompassing bouquet on DSTV. It gives you access to 53 audio channels and more than 174 TV channels. You get access to maximum entertainment, sports, news, etc. on this package.
